Pink Yarrow is a festive color ready to take to the streets of the Caribbean. This one is vibrant and ready to party. It’s complementary to Kale on the color wheel, as they are opposite each other. This represent the Color Harmonies. Lets take a look at what my possible pairings would be from day to night in this lovely color with matching patterns. The first two pairings are basic pieces and the 3rd is an evening look.

This is a classic silhouette, effortless yet every bit feminine. I was lucky to find the exact same pattern. Vogue 1460 is a fitted dress with fitted (lining), blouson bodice with slightly raised front neckline extending into dolman sleeves, bateau neckline, shoulder pleats, three-quarter length sleeves, close-fitting skirt, invisible back zipper and hemline slit. I know it sounds a lot but this isn’t a hard dress to sew. The only thing that may put you off is the lining, and for such a straight forward dress it’s a cake walk.

Niagara is a true neutral, with the dusty slate blue color of traditional denim. This can take on any color you threw at it. Niagara is next to Kale on the color wheel, this is an Analogous (uh-NAL-uh-gus)color. These neighboring colors match well and create serene and comfortable designs, because they are closely related. For this pairing, I felt it would be well suited to keep it simple and classic, trousers with clean line and dresses with a classic fit.

Kale is complementary to Pink Yarrow on the color wheel, as they are opposite each other. This represents the Color Harmonies and totally reminds me of an avocado, not in a bad way. I love avocados, as it’s my favorite health kick aside from spinach. Don’t you feel like taking an adventure in this color. Given time I would like to make these to complete the color wheel.

All three of these are fun colors, whether you are going out on a safari or on a cruise strutting your stuff on the deck. They put me in vacation mood and I would love to be there now! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed the post. Have a good one!
