It’s official, I’ve finally made myself some decent leggings for running. I’ve always been apprehensive when it comes to sewing active wear. In the end, I honestly believe that quality fabric is key to a good fit. It was the perfect opportunity for me because I recently acquired two amazing active wear fabrics. So, I was stoked when the testing call showed up on my feed.
The Eden Leggings
Is an absolutely speedy make, these leggings feature a yoga waistband. I made the super high rise in size 8 and the fit was just right, no sagging in the crotch (which I hate with a passion). It’s just an amazing pattern. The only alterations I made was to increase the rise by two inches because of my physique. I naturally have a long torso and make adjustments for my torso and rise with most patterns.
The ladies version comes in a super high rise, a regular high rise and a mid-rise. The band can be folded down to achieve a lower rise or left unfolded to have more coverage. Capri and traditional ankle lengths are also included for both girls and ladies. I love that you can show off fun printed fabric by using contrasting fabric for the band.
This was gifted by https://sewactivefabrics.com.au to me for review! This is one of the most jovial and fun print I own! This fabric is perfect for leggings or tights. It’s labeled (on site) as Subli-Cool 2.0 is sweat absorbing, quick drying, plus cool and comfortable to wear due to its advanced technology yarn construction. Subli-cool has an exceptional weight and handle, keeping you comfortable and supported no matter what.
